Suzanne K. Browning

Suzy joined Prosperity Advisors in 2021 after successful careers as both a physician and chaplain.  In a life devoted to caring for others, Suzy sees this as another extension of that.  She will tell you she is working toward ‘right and left brain harmony’ in her vocational life.  A scientist and musician, she enjoys assessing complex situations, fleshing out details, and then solving the problem.  She is a firm believer that there is a song for every situation in life! 

Suzy is most comfortable in a crowd leading or teaching.  She has over 30 years of experience in taking industry-speak and translating that for people outside the industry.  Passionate about social justice issues, Suzy is looking forward to playing a role at Prosperity where she can reach out to youth and young adults and teach about financial literacy and overcoming wealth inequality. 

Suzy graduated from Hastings College, the University of Nebraska College of Medicine and the Department of Family Medicine, and the Alegent Health Clinical Pastoral Education Program. 

When she’s not learning a new financial term, Suzy can be found singing, cooking, gardening and hanging out with her 3 fantastic kids:  Matthew, Anna and Ben.  She is a born and bred Cornhusker, passionate about football (we are on our way back!) and has enthusiastically adopted the Chiefs.  Suzy is an elder in the Presbyterian Church, USA, and locally leads her church’s youth choir, mentors the young adults and leads with creative, interactive ideas for worship.
