Joel is a partner and financial advisor with the firm. For more than 14 years, Joel has enjoyed working with hundreds of clients and their families, guiding them through their unique challenges and celebrating their successes. Joel also leads Prosperity’s LGBTQIA+ community initiatives ensuring welcoming, accessible, top-notch financial planning.
Joel holds a bachelor's degree in education from Kansas State University.
Joel spends his evenings and weekends alongside his amazing wife, Tina, enjoying life and raising two energetic children. He loves staying active himself and appreciates the many ways Kansas City offers the chance to do so, particularly if there is an excuse to be outdoors. Some of Joel’s favorite KC pastimes include cycling to the office during warmer months, participating in community theater, and practicing archery.
Fun fact: Joel’s strangest job before working for Prosperity was that time he was a stuntman in Taiwan at an amusement park!
