Joel S. Morrison, CFP®, CFS®

Since 2010, Joel has worked with hundreds of clients’ families, learning about them and guiding them through their unique challenges and celebrating in their successes. In 2017, he earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation, passing his test on St. Patrick’s Day, though he insists luck played no part. Joel leads Prosperity’s initiatives in making sure the LGBT community feels welcome and can enjoy access to top notch financial planning.

Joel finds interesting routes through Kansas City’s traffic in his commute from Lee’s Summit, and in the warmer months sometimes finds the motivation to commute by bicycle. Partially. It’s 20 miles! At home he spends his evenings and weekends navigating fatherhood to his two active children, and husband…hood to his amazing wife, Tina. He likes participating in the occasional local theater production, and generally finding any excuse to be outdoors, especially if it involves archery.
