Joel R. Alderson

Joel joined Prosperity in 2021 after graduating from Kansas State University with a degree in personal financial planning with a minor in business administration and a professional selling certificate. He previously worked at AGH as an intern where he learned about the intricate details of finance, financial planning, and how to be a financial advisor. He also considers himself to be customer service oriented because his father was a salesman and instilled those behaviors in him, which will help him be the best financial planning he can be. Joel became interested in the financial services industry when he switched programs at Kansas State to personal financial planning and learned more about the industry. He also became interested in Prosperity Advisors because they were generous enough to give him a scholarship.

Joel is a huge sports fan; he loves everything from table tennis to football. Joel describes himself as fun loving, goofy, driven, and hardworking.
