Dan joined Prosperity Advisors after a successful career in banking. He focuses on the areas of financial planning, financial economics, tax planning, and educating his clients. Dan greatly appreciates the level of support, depth of knowledge, and infrastructure Prosperity provides. He believes Prosperity’s strengths allow him to expand his services and gives him an enhanced ability to plan for his clients in a way that always puts them first.
Dan has an undergraduate degree in psychology and an undergraduate degree certificate in financial planning from the University of Akron, and an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University.
Away from the office, Dan enjoys family time with his wife, and their two kids - especially family game nights, and puzzles. Dan also spends his free time reading about current financial industry trends and topics that are relevant to his clients. The Derrigs, along with their horse, Spirit, reside in Hartville, Ohio.
Fun fact: Dan competes in judo, wrestling, and sambo.
