Carter serves as an Associate Advisor. Since joining the Prosperity team in 2019, he has earned the Series 7TO and 66 securities registrations and is also insurance licensed for life, health, and variable contracts.

Carter is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ which was obtained by certification through the College for Financial Planning.

Someone who holds the CFP® designation has completed 7 college level courses that covers the entire spectrum of financial planning including general financial planning principles, professional conduct and regulation, asset management, risk management, tax planning, estate planning and retirement planning. Additionally, these individuals must pass a comprehensive exam encompassing everything they have learned and applying their knowledge to real-life scenarios.

CFP® Professionals renew their designation every two year by completing 26 hours of continuing education to keep up with the ever-changing world of industry regulation, along with 2 hours of ethical conduct training through a CFP Board approved Code of Ethics CE program.

His desire to get into the financial services industry comes from a calling to serve others. One of his favorite Prosperity Advisor quotes states, “Only by helping others prosper, do we prosper ourselves.” Carter has a passion for financial planning and enjoys getting to know you on a personal level. Every client is different and has different needs, so it is very important in his eyes to know you, your finances, and your goals to provide the best advice for your specific situation. Carter’s areas of expertise are in retirement planning, investment management, and tax saving strategies.

Carter and his beautiful wife Taylor will be celebrating their 5th wedding anniversary in July (2023). They have a one-year-old daughter named Halston, a black cocker spaniel named Storm and are expecting a new baby girl this coming November (2023).

Carter earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in Business Administration from MidAmerica Nazarene University and was a pitcher for two seasons on the MNU Pioneers baseball team. He is also a die hard Kansas City Chiefs fan. He is continuing his sports career as the manager and player for the Prosperity Advisors summer softball team. In his free time, Carter enjoys spending time with his wife, hanging out with friends, and volunteering in his church’s coffee shop.
