Brad joined Prosperity Advisors as a partner and financial advisor. He has more than 20 years of experience in the industry. He was a financial advisor with Waddell and Reed, then co-founded independent firm Innovest Financial Partners to create, and allow for, more options for his clients. Innovest Financial Partners merged into Prosperity Advisors in 2021.
Brad enjoys the financial industry for its opportunity to get to know people and help them through all types of situations. He also believes he was drawn to financial planning via helping in his parents’ deli as a youngster – specifically, counting the money bin.
Brad earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration, with an emphasis on marketing and financial planning, at Columbia College.
Brad and his wife, Jenny, are proud parents to Knox and Marley. The Hemmers love to travel, and are currently on a mission to see the St. Louis Cardinals play in all 30 stadiums before the kids graduate high school. They are also avid hikers, ever on the lookout for interesting trails for the whole family, no matter where they find themselves. Brad and Jenny also have a passion for wine. Jenny has spent her career in the wine industry, so much of their travel is exploring different wine regions.
Fun fact: Brad was a member of the Columbia College Basketball Team, which won 114 games during his time in school.
