Adam J. Trent,  CFP®, ChFC®

Adam joined Prosperity Advisors in 2022 as a Financial Advisor and has spent his entire career within the client portfolio management and financial planning industry. He brings more than 17 years’ worth of experience to the team and is thrilled to be serving clients out of our Carmel, Indiana office. Adam’s objective is to understand the unique needs of each client while partnering with them to craft a comprehensive financial plan addressing current needs and future goals, all while helping clients balance the emotional response felt during difficult markets. Adam seeks to listen, understand, and educate in order to enhance his client relationships while planning for (or living in) retirement. 

As a CFP^® professional and Chartered Financial Consultant, Adam serves as a fiduciary when recommending investment, insurance, and estate planning strategies. Prior to joining Prosperity, Adam gained experience leading equity and derivative trading teams as well as constructing high net worth portfolios with a unique equity and derivative approach. His prior experience has also taught him how to utilize insurance-based strategies in portfolio and estate planning considerations.  In addition, Adam is licensed in life and health, variable annuities, and holds the Series 4, 7/63, 9/10, and 66.

Adam is married to his wife, Megan, and has two teenage sons, Kamden and Lochlan. Both boys keep him very busy with football, baseball, and basketball. He enjoys volunteering and coaching his sons’ sports teams through Carmel Dads’ Club and watching them play for Carmel Clay Schools. He also enjoys ice skating, cooking his latest culinary delight, and working on cars with his kids. As a native Hoosier, he is naturally a Colts fan, but it is a house divided, as he also has family in Chicago, Illinois and Jacksonville, Florida. Adam is also a self-proclaimed movie buff and travel enthusiast who enjoys finding unique and fun vacations for his family.
